Toys “U” Can’t Return

tucr-badgeFor over 85 years,Iota Phi Lambda Sorority has empowered African American businesswomen, future career women and their families to access economic independence. As the first sorority for African American business and professional women, our legacy of leadership and inspiration for women is more significant and essential now than ever. In the coming years, it will be critical that our commitment to support the future businesswomen of this country be stronger, more precise and more effective.

The National Toys “U” Can’t Return TM program vision includes a new fourfold focus for the program which directs program activities into the following pregnancy prevention domains: Future Career Direction, Realism about Child Rearing, Personal Life Purpose, and Sexual Self-Value and Knowledge. Our goal for this next phase of program development is to seek and develop national resources for program content, standardize activities and evaluation tools, and to seek national funding.

In 2017, the Lola M. Parker Foundation, sponsored the first I3 Symposium, October 13-15, 2017 in Washington DC.   The Toys “U” Can’t Return Program was the focus of the program.  Photos of the Symposium can be seen below:
