Mahala S. Evans National Soror of the Year (2017)

Soror Wendy B. Jacques was inducted into Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc,. Psi Chapter in January 1999.  On May 4, 2013, Soror Jacques along with 9 other women chartered Epsilon Tau in DeSoto, Texas.  Soror Jacques has served locally as chapter president and currently serves as National Recording Secretary.  In her downtime, Soror Jacques gives back to her community by volunteering at the local food bank and gives the gift of life through blood donations.  Soror Jacques is a proud alumnae of Prairie View A&M University.  She continues to give back to her beloved University and Marching Storm Band by organizing fundraising events for equipment and their upcoming appearance at the 2017 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
